Custom Fitting

Any golfer who is about to invest in their game by purchasing a new set of clubs should make one more investment, too: getting custom fit. Every golfer is a bit different in size, body shape and the shape of their golf swing. A custom fitting results in clubs that are specifically suited to an individual's height, strength, clubhead speed and swing characteristics.
Off-the-shelf golf clubs are one-size-fits-all, a golfer might get lucky with an off-the-shelf set, but many golfers will find themselves ill-suited to such a set.

Here at Leaderboard Golf Centre our staff are all trained and experienced authorised custom fitters. Coupled with vast product knowledge they are able to bring you a unique custom fit experience. With all major manufacturers now offering extensive Custom Fit Carts we are able to try different flex and material shafts in different club heads, optimising the fitting potential to the exact specification you require. A session costs £25, will last approximately one hour and will cover the following:

• Shaft Flex and Material (maximizing feel, direction and distance)
• Lie Angle (ball direction & improved ball strike)
• Length (good posture and more consistent impact position)
• Grip size (feel and wrist rotation)
• Club Head Design (ball flight, look and feel)
